Professional Experience
Filipa has worked for the firm since 2017, being a member of the Litigation department and supporting the credit recovery area.
She began her career as a Trainee Lawyer at Alves Mendes, Jardim Gonçalves & Associados (2006-2009), where she had the opportunity to work in the litigation department on general litigation and credit recovery (enforcement procedures, insolvency and company recovery). As a Lawyer she worked at Helena C. Tomaz Advogados (2009-2013), where she was mainly involved in general litigation (declaratory, enforcement and administrative procedures) and insolvency proceedings, being responsible for all procedural aspects of the proceedings and participated in various judicial diligences.
Furthermore, she provided legal advice in the labour, property and commercial areas.
Most recently Filipa practised at Carlos Olavo & Associados (2013-2017) where she was a member of the Litigation department, with a special focus on civil matters: drafting various procedural documents, monitoring of all procedural aspects of the proceedings and intervening in various judicial diligences.
